Matthew O’Loughlin to Present at the Institute for Energy Law’s Midstream Oil & Gas Law Conference

Brattle Principal Matthew O’Loughlin will present at the Institute for Energy Law’s (IEL) 5th Midstream Oil & Gas Law Conference, taking place on December 7, 2017 in Houston, TX.

The event gathers industry experts and thought leaders to discuss topics such infrastructure development for transporting oil and gas, litigation perils and pitfalls concerning midstream contracts, and service provider priorities in midstream contracts.

Mr. O’Loughlin will present, “The Latest on FERC’s Income Tax Allowance Policy for MLPs.” He will provide an overview of the issues in the debate around the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Master Limited Partnership (MLP) Income Tax Allowance policy following the DC Circuit Court’s 2016 remand. In addition, he will provide insight into how FERC’s policy may be changing.
